📌 ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear all,

OSEAN is about to close 3 years of existence. In these 3 years we have achieved so much including Real World Asset acquisition of our boat OSEAN ONE with the owner company EBITDA reaching over 10.000 euro that represents more of 8% ROI in 2025, full legal structure of our DAO company in Marshall Islands with a subsidiary in Cyprus with EU bank account, a full functional website offering yacht charter with crypto and tools for purchasing our token, vote in our DAO and more. Overall we have done total investments of 200.000 euro without our token achieving high MCAP performance.

The Mission

As the project matures our mission becomes more clear and our goal is to give a clear vision on what OSEAN is all about. What is OSEAN? OSEAN is a decentralized community with the mission to give cheaper access to boats and revenue to sailors through equity fractionalization and investments in the boating industry. We wanna become a premium club with benefits for all our DAO members giving access to boats, events, education and more with discount privileges that nowhere else available. For example our DAO has already the ability to offer an additional 10% discount to charter boats around the world through our website.

The Roadmap

As we were progressing and upgrading our onchain infrastructure we came to realize that it has become to complex to the average user, with 2 tokens in 2 chains, bridge, vaults, treasury etc. In combination with a high tax on the token it has put off a lot of people from trading it and considering it as a major asset in their portfolio. Our goal is not only to reach the crypto community but also people not in crypto, active in sailing industry and we need to make the project more simple and more accessible to them. We admit that in our attempts to reach these people the complexity was the biggest obstacle to explain.

How we plan to tackle above challenges?

Make things more simple with 1 chain, 1 token, 1 NFT DAO/Club access. A token with a small tax 2% max and automatic mechanisms for direct deposits of 1% to the DAO treasury.

The new TOKEN

The new token will be available only on ETH chain. The DAO and infra is also being moved as we speak exclusively on ETH chain. A new nautical name for token that will represent simplicity and strength related to sea activities with a more modern and simple contract. The new token is planned to launch on the first 10 days of April with strong liquidity and an immediate registration to a major CEX.

How this affect current holders?

At the 25th of March all trading activities to the current token will be seized. A snapshot will be taken and all holder wallets will be able to claim their new tokens from our official website 48 hours after the new token launch. The new name of Token and contract will be announced during launch.

Our narrative for OSEAN is strong and we will continue investing untill we achieve the recognition this project deserves. In a crypto market that the MEME has been the dominant narrative we feel that there still crypto investors looking for RWA projects with a live proof of concept like OSEAN. The road ahead will not be easy but the Founder and DAO are determined to see this through and we are confident that so we will.
