New York has issued a statewide Burn Ban in effect until Sat, 11/30. High risk of brush and wildfires. This burn ban prohibits the starting of outdoor fires statewide for purposes of brush & debris disposal, as well as camp fires & open fires used for cooking.

Recent dry conditions, paired with sunny days, unseasonably warm temperatures, and low humidity, have heightened wildfire risk. Remember, a single spark can ignite a wildfire, risking your safety and that of others.
