I don't know why there's always such a push to climb the corporate ladder and work yourself to death
I'm perfectly happy in a fairly mundane but stable job that allows me freedom for my hobbies and good mental health. I would never sacrifice that for higher pay personally

Rather be in a dead end job with steady income, good holiday allowance and not be chronically depressed
