@wknfps - the jack of all traits. Good at everything (especially ping pong). Throughout this year, I didn’t get to know you as much as everyone else but the one thing that stood out was your willingness to help. If anyone needed anything you were always there to help, quietly but impact-fully making everyone’s job easier. Any team is blessed to have someone like you with them.

@Demon1___ - the unmatched confidence. The amount of certainty that you have in the fact that you are the best is admirable. Keep working hard and with the right environment you will win but I’m sure you don’t need to hear that, you know.

I’ll leave things with this. Overall, I appreciate everyone who I’ve worked with throughout this journey. I have learned so many lessons that I definitely will take with me into the future. Send support to ENVY, they are an extremely talented and hard working team and will win if they put their all into it.

I want to take the time to appreciate all of the people that were by my side during this amazing journey.

@Eggsterr - my duo. It all started with you, playing ranked every day striving to hit rank one. I still remember when I was a shitty Jett main with a 0.95 K/D and hella toxic, (still am the ladder) people would always ask ‘Why do you duo with him?’ and you said because we always win. Always making jokes and smiling, you are such a blast to be around. This guy was a Buddha in and out of the server. Somehow in 2 years of scrims/pro play, I can only recall 1 time where Eggsterr showed negative emotion.

@ion2x_ - from the start of 2025 till the end you improved more than anyone. I appreciate so much your skill of listening. I vividly remember long before we played on a team, you asking questions in ranked, truly trying to understand why a play was bad or what another option could have been. And you actually took the feedback (even when it was harsh from Hunter and I). Make sure that you never lose that skill, because that is something that will propel you to become a great. I also won’t leave out how funny the banter was with you and Cane. These moments were such a highlight throughout last year. I know you have a bright future, hopefully with him by your side. You guys bring out the best in each other.

@canezerra - the best of the best. Somehow the funniest guy in the room, while being the best at the game. When I duoed with you back in the day, you made every game a blast. One of those duos that I could play infinite games with and still want to keep going. Once in a generation passion to endlessly grind. Work ethic like no one I’ve ever seen it is unbelievable. When you get unbanned, I know if you feel like winning a few trophies you will. Everyone knows you have what it takes. You got this.

@inspire_val - the adapter. All of last year you were changing, reworking, and patching for the betterment of the team. If something didn’t work you’d find a way to fix it in your own way. This really made things easy for me as an IGL. Even if it was hard at times and we had disagreements, we both always had the goal of winning in mind, and I’m so glad that we held that trophy up together. I know that you are one of the best sentinels in the world and if you’re given a chance you will seize it. Best of luck.

@StunnerFPS - my right hand man. You were always open to chat about anything, and when it was game theory we could talk for hours. Behind the scenes getting everyone on the same page. If something didn’t work or there was a disagreement, you would always find a way to fix things (even if that meant talking with different people for hours after prac). At the start of last year, I hadn’t ever worked with a coach so I didn’t know what to expect. So when you joined, I was a little worried about how it would go. What I can say now is that I’m happy it was you who was with us all this time. The amount of time you put in is admirable and you really do have that passion to win. Claim champs for the fallen Ascension winners.

@RossyUA Sosuke Aizen. One of the most charismatic people I’ve ever met. Work ethic crazy, willingness to win crazy, and over all just a good teammate. A true professional of esports. The thing I admire most about you is that even if you disagree with something, you don’t argue; you just accept it and move on while always giving it your all (something I struggled with heavily). Even though things didn’t go well this year I am happy that we chose you as a player to pick up. Best of luck winning champs.

@keznitdeuS a man like no other. Keznit is actually just one of one in the game, if he is feeling it on a day he can be the greatest player in the world. I loved playing ping pong with you even though you would always beat me. Every memory of you is always one smiling. Keep pushing forward you guys can do this.

Last year was a dream. This year was a nightmare.

First, I want to thank @Envy for giving us this opportunity. Their signing of @RANKERSvlr really was a dream come true. Anything we asked of them, they gave us. They put us in the perfect environment to win, both last year and this year. I truly appreciate everyone there.

Now for the main course. This year’s result was the culmination of a lot of bad decisions from a lot of different parties, so please don’t send hate toward anyone. It was a tale as old as time; what started as a couple of friends enjoying a game they loved slowly became a corporate work environment. So many of the things that led us to win last year got changed under the pretense of “this is tier one, we can’t do things the same way.” This slowly soured me. I was complicit, I let these things change, and that’s one of the biggest lessons I learned this year: if you aren’t adamant about your opinion, it’ll get overlooked. Keep pushing until you get what you need.

Eventually, months went by and I lost the passion I once had for the game and became a bad teammate. I didn’t even realize it in the moment, but I stopped giving it my all, because I was playing someone else’s game. I gave up the IGL role since I couldn’t see my style working with the system we were running. I started the season with high hopes, expecting to just focus on my mechanics. Then I was asked to make mid-round calls around a philosophy that I have no experience playing with. That was the end of me.

Then there was a saving grace: Eggsterr’s last game. A meaningless game for us, but a crucial one for MIBR, they needed it to secure the first seed in playoffs. So I proposed something -> put Eggsterr on Yoru and let me call Rankers style for his last game. With some reluctance, everyone accepted.

Domination. We broke the record for the fastest win in VCT Americas and this time, we were on the winning side of it. For just a moment, that spark came back. I had hope; I thought maybe the team would finally see eye to eye with me. Somehow beating the first seed in our group 13-1 and 13-3 couldn’t mend what had already been broken (even now, that’s mind boggling to me). Then EWC came, and I wasn’t given all the pieces I’d asked for. We lost, ending any dream I had left for ENVY.

To the fans: thank you for the endless support, even with our abysmal results you guys kept sending positivity, you guys are the best. Hopefully the path @Envy chose was the right one. Only time will tell…
