ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਦੇ ਫਸਲ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਜਲ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਜਰਗ ਵਿਖੇ ਮਾਡਰਨਾਈਜੇਸਨ ਆਫ ਕਮਾਂਡ ਏਰੀਆ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਅਧੀਨ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।

ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕੋਰੇਟ ਪਸਾਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਵੀਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹ ਬਣੀ। 80 ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸੁਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਸ਼ਤਕਾਰੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਮਸ਼ਵਰੇ ਕੀਤੇ।

ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਪੀਏਯੂ ਦੇ 32 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਹਾਈਕਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਟਰੈਕਿੰਗ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਕੈਂਪ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਖੇਤੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਾਲਮਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਸ ਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ ਸਤਿਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੋਸਲ ਨੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਅੱਜ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕੋਰੇਟ ਪਸਾਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਪੱਖੀ ਪਾਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਗਾਂਹਵਧੂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੀਨਾਵਾਰ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਸਕਿੱਲ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ। 28 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਏ। ਇਹ ਕੈਂਪ ਅਪਰ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਸੰਚਾਰ, ਡਾ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਿਆੜ ਦੀ ਦੇਖਰੇਖ ਹੇਠ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਅੱਜ ਡਾ. ਖੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਸਲਾਹ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਦੇ ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ ਪਸਾਰ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੀਨਾਵਾਰ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਫ਼ਸਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਸਮੀ ਸਥਿਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਿਸਾਨੀ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਨਿੱਠ ਕੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਚਰਚਾ ਹੋਈ।

ਪੀਏਯੂ ਦੇ ਆਗਾਮੀ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ 2026-27 ਵਿਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਚਾਹਵਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਏ ਏ ਟੀ ਅੱਜ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਟਰੋਲਰ ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਡਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਾਂਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਚੱਜੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਛੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਐਗਰੀਕਲਚਰਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਪਸਾਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਤੰਬਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੇਲੇ ਤੇ ਅਗਾਂਹਵਧੂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਬੀਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ | ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਨਮਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਬੀਬੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ |
