Because of Marcos' Martial Law we lost generations of leaders. By the time he was gone, names like Salonga,Diokno,Tañada & Manglapus was too old or can't connect w/ the electorate. Youth leaders like Edjop,Trajano,Hilao,Camus &Dijillo were too young to have been tortured & killed
