Both gymnasts proudly represented Ireland at the TeamGym Mezzo Cup Finals, competing against 13 other teams — and they secured 1st place in their category!
As part of #GoodRelationsWeek, the Bangor Cuchulainn’s team, made up of pupils from @Bangor_Academy and @St_Columbanus, were hosted by the Mayor of @ANDborough, Councillor Gillian McCollum, in recognition of their outstanding engagement in the Ulster GAA Cúchulainn Initiative.

Triathlon News
Despite a broken toe, Sophie has clocked up four 1st places and two 2nds since April! Two silvers came from the prestigious National Youth Series & Triathlon Ireland’s National Youth Cup (age 13 - 14). Each event means a 300m swim, 10k cycling and 2k run. Kudos!
Inter-schools show jumping success.
Leah rode two horses for Bangor Academy at the Inter-schools event at the Meadows Equestrian Centre. She jumped super clear rounds to come in 3rd and 9th out of a large class of 55.

🏉 Ruby moves up to Ulster U17s.
Earlier in the term we shared the news that Ruby had been playing for Ulster U16s. It is fantastic to hear she has now been selected for the Ulster U17s!
Medal winning Megan to represent NI in Poland.
Following her bronze medal win for NI at the GB Open Karate Championships in Birmingham, Megan (Yr. 11) will join the NI squad to compete in Szczecin, Poland in October. We wish her every success in her first European Championship.

Isla (Yr. 14) has made 10 appearances as the Linfield Seniors’ goalie this summer. Matthew (Yr. 12) kept an impenetrable last line of defence for N.I. U16s team which won the Gary Speed Tournament, Wales.
