Closing out the APRAs like this was poignant, bitter sweet but definitely worth doing - especially surrounded by so much talent - what a way to remember our brother in music.

So important to read. Only slowing emissions will "buy crucial time for humanity to adapt." No more gas/coal. #ClimateEmergency. Renewables and electro tech now. 'Melting in Antarctica: What scientists saw at the Thwaites and Cook glaciers last summer https://t.co/MqJ7LPNwJi

Super urgent: The Kimberley, including the mighty Martuwarra/Fitzroy River is far too precious to despoil with fracking. Please take a moment to support this important campaign, here: https://t.co/PtJBpeVabs

In ’24 we (Martin and I) played for Rising Tide in Newcastle. 12 months on continuing failure by governments to reign in fossil fuels and the climate crisis, means these actions and all who support them are needed more than ever.

This is a big, and necessary win for free speech. The Trumpian overtones in Adani’s actions acquiesced to by successive QLD governments were appalling. At a time of #climate emergency citizens must be able to undertake peaceful democratic activism.

40 years ago, after a resolute, successful campaign get their land, traditional owners at Uluru showed incredible generosity by leasing the land to all Australians enabling the creation of Uluru/Kata Tjuṯa National Park. Our shows out there were amongst the most meaningful ever.
I’m pleased to share that I’ve been invited to join the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE) as an Honorary Fellow for 2025.
ATSE stands for the power of applied knowledge and innovation to make real-world change, something we need more than ever.
I'm heading north next week for a keynote address at the Australian Land Conservation Alliance Conference, Gimuy/Cairns. With climate chaos putting healthy landscapes under the pump, this is an important gathering. May bold ideas + practical action rule! https://t.co/9NsQlUuGcN
The Kimberley region is special: extraordinary landscapes, rich culture, brilliant coastline. WA Labor gov mustn’t allow horrendous fracking, or massive gas developments to disfigure and ruin this part of Oz. Australia's Great North Conference Declaration: https://t.co/b2iJZh0FMs
NT & northern Australia will define our future: rising climate risks, failures of duty of care, and threats to our rivers, land & sea from bad decisions. Read more from my Australia’s Great Northern Conference Keynote, here: https://t.co/ezkyZsDa7L
