Before the Dec. 9th Plainville BOE meeting, Anthony Wasley was sworn in as the newest board member, replacing Rebecca Martinez, who stepped down to serve as CT State Rep. for District 22. A reception honoring Rebecca was held prior to the meeting.
Last week at the annual Class Competition event, PHS and the Unified Sports team received a national banner of recognition from Special Olympics North America for being named a school with Special Olympics Unified Champion Schoolยฎ programming. ๐
Linden Street School community came together for a successful food drive led by Kerry Craft & Sarah Baker. Thanks to students, staff, and families, two bins of non-perishable items will be donated to the Plainville Community Food Pantry to support local families. ๐
MSP held its 2024 NJHS induction on Nov. 22, featuring remarks from advisor Victor Terranova, NJHS President Grace, and Principal Aimee Roberts. Current members reviewed NJHS qualities before inducting new members. ๐

On Tuesday, November 19th, Plainville Community Schools hosted the 35th Annual Superintendent's Student Recognition Luncheon. Students from each school were honored by the Superintendent for their incredible hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the values of PCS.
