@SirSmores Shoot me some numbers, other than the last few years of low-hanging fruit, Huevery. That is, to substantiate your rebuttal. Feel like you have more homework than I do in this instance.
@SamMcDowell11@SSJWHB Any KU fan wishing self away would be foolish. He’s led KU to its most prominent era ever and he’s in the conversation for the best coach ever in college hoops.
Rick Pitino was asked what stops people from being great. His answer was one word.
"Ego stops greatness. I call it edging greatness out."
"In a spiritual sense, ego is edging God out. But ego is edging greatness out."
And he made a key distinction:
"I'm not talking about confidence. You have to be a confident person."
"But ego really gets you to where you think you've arrived. You think you know it all. You stop learning. You stop listening."
That's the trap. Confidence keeps you hungry. Ego convinces you that you've already made it.
You lose your hunger and humility.
"Learning and listening are important for great leaders. Great leaders have to listen and they have to continue to learn and surround themselves with people that are better than them."
EGO = Edging Greatness Out
The moment you think you've arrived is the moment you stop growing.
Stay confident. Stay humble. Never stop learning.

"I walked over to him and I said, 'that's one of the most selfless things I've ever seen a teammate do.'"
Draymond Green tells a great story about Trayce Jackson-Davis giving up his seat on the bench to Quinten Post tonight when there were no seats left, even though rookies are supposed to sit on the floor if there are no seats.
"That to me, that's why you win games. Chemistry. It's selflessness. It's togetherness. I just thought that was a huge moment."
Junior Kailyn Hanni of Silver Lake had a phenomenal weekend leading the Eagles to a second place finish in the 3A State Tournament. Hanni went 38/44 from the free throw line in the three game stretch breaking the state’s record for free throws made in the state tournament. She shattered the previous 4A record of 29 free throws made. Hanni had 19 points in the Silver Lake’s heartbreaker loss in the 3A State Title game. She had a game high 28 in the Eagles upset over previously undefeated Hesston in their semi final matchup. And in their quarterfinal win the junior had 22 points. Hanni was the leading scored last year in the Eagles State Championship win and definitely a player to watch out for in her senior season. #sportsinkansas
