It was a pleasure interacting with bright young students from Maharashtra under the inspiring ‘Campus Se Sansad’ initiative of Shri @TawdeVinod Ji.

Engaging with the youth and helping them understand the journey from public concerns to policy formulation and parliamentary action is both enriching and encouraging.

Jal Jeevan Mission is transforming rural India. Since its launch in 2019, rural tap water coverage has increased from 3.23 crore households (16.72%) to 15.84 crore households (81.86%). The impact goes beyond infrastructure — WHO estimates that household tap connections save 5.5 crore hours every day previously spent collecting water, while SBI Research finds that nearly 9 crore women no longer need to fetch water, with an 8.3 percentage-point decline in households dependent on outside water sources. #PerformanceSpeaks
