@AsarCadyn@SamaHoole That fat is mostly useful for energy storage. There are different fats and many are only available in food, we cannot create them (but cows and sheep and fish can)
@lavnderamethyst@SamaHoole I ate 4000 calories (17000kJ) of beef today, according to a nutrition website. Fatty cuts add up quick. No way am I spending that much energy, yet my weight is reducing. I ate a lot less while I was very fat.
@Akisgarage@ibxtoycat Vanilla is fine until you want:
* Longer render distance
* To copy a large construction
* To switch between accounts without going back to the launcher
* To have in game voice communication
@Charlie26443066@SBakerMD@AlpineButcher I don't exercise as much as him and I eat about 1500g of beef each day, about 3lb
Meat prices are different everywhere. The Scotch fillet I buy doubles in price between my two nearest butchers
@Crispytongue@SamaHoole That's a misunderstanding of average lifespans. If you lived to 40 you had a pretty good chance of making to old age
The low average age is due to high infant mortality and young deaths hunting dangerous animals
@Stanley98063846 @SamaHoole If the anti carnivore people were right we'd all be dead several times over, especially of scurvy
And humanity wouldn't have survived the ice age
@rossssb@SamaHoole Beef has plenty of creatine, doesn't it? I doubt you need to supplement if you eat anything like the amount other zero carb people eat
@oliver_adl@SamaHoole There are several animals that live in crop fields. Their freeze reaction to threats doesn't save them from combine harvesters
Every diet has blood on its hands
What farms are killing bee colonies? Was it almond? It wasn't beef.
@AtypiclDiabetic@SamaHoole Owsley "Bear" Stanley (known for being the sound guy for The Grateful Dead) ate only meat for practically his entire life
He died in his 70s in perfect health in a car wreck.
@Crispytongue@SamaHoole I bet that would make people feel sick
I wonder why carnivore people are so fit and healthy with no fibre saving them from their digestive juices
@SamaHoole Though it's hard to untangle between the rise in consumption of seed oils and the rise of sugar, both of which increased from near zero to near universal in the 20th century
If it was sugar though it lagged a lot
