Our team reviewed the entirety of yesterday's Cade Cup game:

Traffic peaked at 32.2x the pre-game baseline, which is substantially higher than even our previous highs.

This influx of traffic caused repeated rate limits on the RPC. Keep in mind, we are on Devnet, not Mainnet, which is intended for experiments, not production grade applications.

The rate limiting affected downstream listeners, market materialization, and placing predictions. This also resulted in values defaulting to fallback numbers, hence sometimes seeing 0 for pool balances.

We have a fix in place, which is being tested now in our dev build. We moved a lot of calls off of the RPC and onto direct log reads. When we confirm it's sufficient, we will push it to our prod build.

Tl;dr: @pumpcade cade cup is growing substantially by every match. Every new activity milestone exposes NEW areas that we need to improve.

This is why the Cade Cup is on testnet, with fake dollars. The best way for our team to build an application that's PERFECT for mainnet is by getting THOUSANDS of concurrent users on it NOW.
