Dr. Pace and 5 students studied small molecule inhibitors of a protein involved in cancer. Computational predictions of whether a molecule binds to a protein help decide what to synthesize! This project is funded for 2 yrs by NH-INBRE. And she got a 🐶 #NHINBRE

C&EN story focused on issue of grades. In the PNAS paper, authors discuss critical issues about belonging, identity and inclusion. While poor grades inhibit persistence, pedagogy that supports belonging has many additional positive effects.
