@shaynagoldman_ Watch MacKinnon in this spot. He takes the puck to the middle of the ice. Would it have worked for Kaprizov? He may not score the goal himself, but then Boldy has crashed as well to pick up loose change. And likely a frozen puck rather than a odd-man going the other way.
@zachkruse2 I’ve always stuck to the definition of faith being “believing without seeing”. If Gutey feels the same, then it makes sense. I don’t agree with him, but he certainly could believe it’s true without seeing it’s true.
@itsjustChrisnow It’s just so predictable. I mean it when I say that I wanted MLF gone mostly so that it would mean a fresh-blood coaching staff. When’s the last time any HC in GB had the cajones to admit failure and clean house of their ratty assistants?
@KurtBenkert Totally agree. Seems the ego of coaches, especially the young ones, keeps them from wanting to relinquish that “gift” that got them the job in the first place. A veteran, “been-there” voice to provide another set of eyes or someone to call the plays would be a good step.
@zachkruse2 Interesting to hear them mention 49ers staff use the word “desperation” in the pre-game. When’s the last time we saw the Packers play any game with “desperation”?
@BillHuberNFL I’d rephrase that to say “the result was absurd”. If Nixon was a competent corner, that’s an incompletion at worst. Williams threw up a prayer and no one on the defense made a play on the ball.
Every year it seems we go through some horrific heartache in the playoffs. I’m not sure how much more my health can take it. I love this team, but holy fuck, this is getting really old. Really, really old.
@BruceIronsNFL Yeah, it’s pretty ridiculous. Between those and at least two terrible ball spots on plays that went out of bounds, let’s just get to the end of the game ahead.
