Hey everyone!...a quick note on DMs
I really enjoy connecting through posts and replies here on X, but I deal with social anxiety and some past trauma that makes responding to direct messages feel incredibly overwhelming for me.
It’s not personal at all if I don’t reply...I promise it’s just how my nervous system is wired right now. I apprecate your messages more than you know, even if I can’t always answer them.
If something’s important, feel free to reply publicly to one of my posts or tag me there instead....I’m usually much more comfortable in those spaces.
Thanks so much for your patience and understanding. It means a lot. 🖤✨️🖤
A Heartfelt Pagan Blessing our Mother Nature’s Resilience. 🌍
Dear Great Mother, the true
earth weaver and life giver,
we stand in awe before your gentle strength.
In the shadowed forests of Chernobyl,
where human hands once again brought sorrow and fire,
You returned without a word.
no machines, no prayers of repentance...
only your quiet breath, and your patient hands.
You cradled the wounded soil, and coaxed green life from ash,
and sent the pine marten gliding through the trees,
eyes bright, whiskers dancing,
a living smile in the moonlight.
Blessed be this pine marten,
swift shadow of the wildwood,
guardian of hidden paths.
May your paws tread softly upon the healing ground,
may your hunt be plentiful,
and may your curious spirit forever remind us
that life finds a way.
To our Great Mother,
Your web of life is truly amazing...thread after shining thread,
connecting root to branch,
beetle to bird,
martin to moon.
Even after our greed and forgetting,
you weave anew.
You heal not with force, but with time,
with seed and rain, with fur and feather.
We thank You for this beauty.
We thank You for the quiet power
that outlasts every tower humans build.
Help us remember...
true strength is not in control,
but in harmony,
in surrender to your green and growing heart.
May the pine marten’s bright eyes
be a blessing to all who see them.
May every forest, every field, every wild heart
know your tender restoration.
With gratitude and love,
we walk softly upon Your sacred ground.
So mote it may be!

@DegenApeDev I have never been to Harvey's...they didn't have those in mist small towns I grew up I'm, in BC. But A&W...I miss the old days. The mamma burger, the teen burgers and those frosted glasses with a root beer float. Can we go back to the days of old?
My children's stepsister had one if the worst cases of FAS...it was heartbreaking...she suffered immensely. Her mother literally drank through the entire pregnancy...and her daughter paid a very heavy price. She was in constant pain, never mentally developed past the age of 2, never walked, always had to wear a diaper....and she died of severe complications as a result of FAS at the age of 16. This was 100% preventable...and this woman above is doing irreparable harm to her child. The thing that gets me is...the people around her not giving a shit and drinking with her...absolutely disgusting.
@yungblud Your chaos is pure pagan wildfire, Dom...raw, untamed, and somehow the sweetest spell we’ve ever fallen into. We’re all riding this storm with you, screaming, sweating, and setting the night ablaze together.
So mote it may be 🖤✨️🖤
The strong pressure for women to have smooth, hairless underarms and legs isn't comparatively recent, unless you count over a 100 years ago as recent.
My grandmother who was born in 1914, grew up with it. The 1920s flapper movies, rising hemlines, sleeveless dresses, and ads pushing the unsightly underarm hair as embarrassing. Hollywood stars normalized the sleek look on screen. By my teen years in the 1980s it was fully entrenched what women should do.
How old are you? This was marketing and fashion creating a norm decades before today's body positivity pushback. History books and my family stories confirm it.
Body hair removal has been part of civilization for thousands of years. It is not some new trend.
Ancient Egyptian priestesses, Greek athletes, and Roman women all waxed, plucked, and shaved for beauty, hygiene, and ritual. Pagans have honoured smooth skin since the days of the old gods.
It’s called culture and history, not "trans" influence. Please pick up a history book and get some education on the matter.
@woofknight Oh....that explains how I am feeling right now as I begin my menopausal journey. That reminds me....I need to add duct tape to my grocery list....cause you never know when you need a roll, or two. 😇
Exactly this....no one wants to listen. They say they do, but the minute you start talking, they look at you differently. They tell you to grow up, get over it, you are crazy, etc....no one wants to sit quietly and just listen....we need someone to actually "hear" what we are saying.
