And this is why the spaceships and other space vehicles/installations in #ToSleepInaSeaofStars use diamond radiators. I did my research, folks! :D

@paolini There is a quiz here in the UK called Bridge of Lies. Contestants have to step on things that fit a category and avoid “lies” (that don’t fit) Last night’s had “Famous Chris & Christophers” 😃
@paolini just finished To Sleep in a Sea of Stars and absolutely loved it. Great world building. I know there's a prequel that I plan on reading on keeping my fingers crossed for a sequel! I saw a rumor that they might turn the book into a TV show and I sincerely hope they do!!!
Sending lots of well-wishes to the folks in Venezuela. What a horrible thing this quake has been.
(I have some wonderful fans in Venezuela, but I've never been able to visit myself.)
Sneak peak of some of the art I'm doing. These are old pieces I'm revisiting. New ones in-progress or already done. :D
Human runestone (from #Murtagh) and Mount Arngor.
I get to indulge in my other hobby, art, every few years, when I finish a book. And I'm having a BLAST painting stuff for Tales 2. Really pulling the stops out for y'all.

@suchnerve@paolini golly Miss Molly it gives me goosebumps every time. "For the sky was hollow and the world was round" gets me every time. what a cool scene and strangely (for me) moving.
So @AxelSauerwald's illustrations for our Special Edition Box Set of @paolini's THE INHERITANCE CYCLE keep just... impressing us more and more!
Link in our bio! Almost 15k pre-launch followers signed up already!
Following last week's artwork, Luke Eidenschink knocked it out of the park with a more personal scene from "The Defeat at Amaranth." ⚔️ There's a real human/elven cost behind the legend. 🧝♀️🐲

Heck, I turn off all the AI assists in MS Word and on my iPhone. Can't stand 'em. I don't even have spellcheck turned on when writing, as the red lines are distracting.
Never. Not only do I not trust LLMs to be consistent, there's no way I'd upload an entire unpublished book to a third-party program that would have whatever access to the material they want.
@paolini I’m curious, how does your brain treat writing your own made-up words? Has it been so long that they come out without delay, or do they give you a mental speed bump?

I swear, the longer I write, the worse I get at spelling. It's as if my brain is so used to typing the words, it just takes more and more shortcuts. Lol. Plus, I never want to slow down when actually writing. Takes a long time to spellcheck afterward.
