My 2U plays in football were over 65%, which I am very proud of. My POW radio plays were 18-6 on ESPN and 20-8 on FoxSports. It felt good.
My contracts have all come to an end with my players, even the ones I have had for many years. So now I am free to post whatever and whenever I want.
I got into sports handicapping in 2009 after many years of playing on my own and being successful. I loved every minute of it. Even those times when I put a hole or 5 in the wall.
I started selling picks in 2013, and loved that just as much, AT FIRST. Then I saw the other side of that business. It started to completely change my view of the entire handicapping landscape, and it got worse each and every year.
Whether it was a man threatening to come burn my house down (dude even knew my address) after losing some back on SNF, after making a ton earlier that day, or when my boss (no names or sites needed to be mentioned here) cursed me out the week after going 10-0 in the NFL because “I only had 3 picks the following week, and I had to make more, even if they were not good picks” because the paying customers expected 10 again. Or something in between, but whatever it was, I began to hate this job.
So I decided to step away from the sites and just focus on my own customers. I have done that now for 3 years and loved it. But it is time to move on.
So first let me thank those customers, some of whom have been with me since I started. You guys have become like family to me. We have won some, we have lost some, but we have stayed the course and made some money.
Next let me think my oldest brother @GCBilly and my late father. You guys are the ones who inspired me to become the best capper I could be. Trying to beat you guys at a young age was tough, and made me become “NeiltheGreek”, so thank you.
Next let me thank Eugene @DonBestSports. You were and are still the best boss I’ve ever had. You were my support when there was no other. You let me be me. And you even let me throw myself under the bus when I sucked. So thank you sir.
Obviously, I also have to thank my beautiful wife Monica. She was the one who worked and kept it down long enough for me to get things rolling. More times than not, there’s always a good woman behind every good man.
Let me also thank anyone who followed me here or over the radio airwaves. Some of you guys have surprised me with how much you trusted in me, and looked forward to my picks. So thank you so much.
Lastly, let me thank Sean Saborowski. He will probably never see this, but he deserves my 🙏. Sean, when you contacted me and told me who you were, I thought you were full of crap. But you weren’t. You got me my first chance. And from there, it was easy. You told me the first time we spoke that I was the best totals capper you had seen in your 25+ years doing this. Well, I hope I didn’t disappoint. I will always be grateful for what you did for me. So, THANK YOU!!!
There is no such thing as “the best handicapper”. We have good years and we have down years. The main thing is consistency and being honest. I made my name with both. When I sucked, I was not afraid to say it. And trust me? There were many of those days.
So when you guys are searching for your next capper, remember those things. There’s some good ones out there, you just have to look for them. Just know that the fake ones are not the ones posting 50U plays. Or posting 100-27 their last 127 picks. Those are obviously idiots. And if you’re stupid enough to follow, that’s on you.
The worst ones are the sly fake ones. The ones that post lines no one else can at that moment. Or make excuses for every loss. You guys know.
Anyways, my time has come and gone. I may throw a bone or two your way here sometimes. But not as a pro.
Appreciate it and TYVM
I have not watched any baseball this entire season. So, I’m no expert. But Shohei Ohtani giving up 5 ER in 61 innings pitched is one of the most insane things I have seen.
Pitchers give up 5 in an inning by accident some days!
For the record, I picked the Knicks to win this series in 6 games.
As much as I don’t believe in KAT, I think the Spurs having to play OKC will be the difference.
As well as Brunson and Bridges.
Good luck to all that bet it.
@sophieraiin First time I ever seen her from behind. Not hating, get your money, but your hips are too jiggly and wide for your body. Especially for someone who is a virgin and only 20ish?
Good for you though, get yours!
Caitlin Clark is averaging almost 24 per game.
Also, she shoots the ball terribly because of taking bad shots.
Also, she leads the League in turnovers by a lot at over 5 per game.
Also, she is one of the worst defenders on the League.
Very very small percentage. You learn over time, as a very successful capper, if you can control yourself and only bet your strongest plays, it’s so much easier and way less stress just to bet yourself.
Which is why you don’t see 53-55% winners from many here. Because they learn this lesson.
And that’s also the funny part. General public and scam cappers believe it’s “easy” to win at 55% or higher. IT IS NOT!
But also why idiots expect it. A great professional bettor is ecstatic to hit 54% over time with self control. Because that means you’re making very good money to watch sports!
@Michael72017843 I understand that. But with what they are building around them, they have a real shot.
Obviously, they need help. But having them both is a dang good start!
Azzi Fudd and Paige Bueckets (Bueckers) will be unstoppable once they have played with these set of teammates enough, as I said before the season.
Both scored 24 today in a road win at NY.
They will have some down days, but my +7500 prediction looks nice!
@JeffNadu You saying, anyone hates everything, may be the single greatest pot calling the kettle black moment ever!
George is one of the funniest OGs on here, because he actually believes the craziness that comes out of his mouth 😂
Agreed. However, Spurs were stuck on 91 in that first game for a while, or it would’ve been over with 3 minutes left.
I understand what you’re saying, but coming from someone who has no dog in this fight, Spurs look better.
And we know how the role players will now play when factoring in home/away.
Square betting with the public, taking the over on almost every game, does not make you intelligent. Opposite actually.
Still nothing official from me, but if I was betting this game, it has to be OKC-7
This has to be a convincing win IMO. GL to all!
Spurs are on the verge of becoming a dynasty powerhouse that will be unbeatable for the next half decade. As long as they stay healthy and their players keep their desire to win. What a team they put together.
Wemby, Castle, Harper are all so good on both sides, GL beating em!
@Jagerwaffles@JeffNadu No shit Sherlock. That’s what they’re trying to eliminate. Not ever letting them produce nukes.
