🇨🇿 Meet PassimPay in Prague at TES Affiliate Conference 2026!
Lisbon isn't our only stop this season. Our Head of Sales, Sergey Krotov, is heading to Prague for the TES Affiliate Conference (@TheEuroSummit). It starts tomorrow and runs September 25 to 28 at the Diplomat Hotel.
TES is a working B2B event. Affiliate networks, e-commerce brands and traffic partners come there to sort out day-to-day operational problems, so most meetings get specific fast.
👥 If your network is growing, you've probably run into cross-border payout issues, high gas fees or card payments failing at checkout. That's what we want to talk about: how our API plugs in, how to pay all your partners in one batch, and how to spend less on network fees.
💬 Want crypto processing with no hidden fees and a real person on the other end? Message Sergey ahead of time to book a 1-on-1 meeting:

😇 See you in Prague!
🇵🇹 PassimPay is heading to SBC Summit 2026
After six conferences in the first half of the year, Dubai, Barcelona, Tbilisi, Yerevan and a few more, Lisbon is next. SBC Summit (@SBCGAMINGNEWS) runs September 29 to October 1 at FIL and MEO Arena, with a dedicated Payment Expert Summit alongside the main programme. Payments are the reason we are going.
👥 PassimPay is present at every major industry event, and our team is always up for a face to face conversation. Not many payment providers work that way. We do, because we are confident in the product and most questions get sorted out faster in person.
💬 Message ahead to grab a slot:
→ Egor Frolov (@EgorPassimPay), Chief Sales Officer
→ Irina Frolova (@Irina_PassimPay), Sales Manager
👋 See you in Lisbon.
🧐 741 million holders, 0.19% of online commerce
Both numbers come from the Cointelegraph (@Cointelegraph) Research report "Crypto Payment Gateways: Infrastructure, Adoption, and the Merchant Acceptance Gap."
The gap looks strange right up until you check which side the obstacle sits on.
📍The problem is on the merchant side
Buyers already have wallets and funds, and plenty of them are willing to pay in crypto. The trouble begins when a business has to accept that payment and record it properly.
A merchant who accepts crypto directly has to generate addresses and track on-chain confirmations. The price can move between payment and settlement. Blockchain activity has to be matched against accounting records, each transaction needs the right tax treatment, and someone has to turn the incoming coins into money for salaries and suppliers.
On top of that, most teams haven't dealt with it before. Accounting isn't sure how it should appear in the reports, and legal has questions about regulation, so the decision often gets postponed.
According to the report, 90% of surveyed merchants would try crypto if it were as simple as taking card payments. So what holds them back is mostly the workload.
👀 What we see in practice
Our merchants rarely come to crypto because the technology interests them. They come when their usual payment methods start causing problems.
Cross-border bank transfers take days, and fees and conversion eat a noticeable part of the amount. International card acquiring costs several times more than crypto processing, and a blockchain transfer skips the chain of correspondent banks.
Crypto payments can't be charged back, which matters a lot to a business that has spent years absorbing fraudulent reversals. The downside is that there's no built-in way to resolve disputes, and in high-dispute categories that is still a real limitation.
For us, the most interesting finding is that retail purchases no longer account for most crypto payment volume. B2B settlement is several times larger than consumer spending on goods, so most crypto payments today are businesses paying each other.
⭐️ Where this leads
The 0.19% figure says little about the technology itself. It shows how difficult crypto still is to fit into normal business operations.
We expect that number to grow as accepting crypto becomes as easy as accepting cards. That is the problem we work on: taking the operational burden off businesses so crypto becomes one more ordinary payment method.

⭐️ 10,000 $APE Airdrop and Zero Processing Fees for Merchants
At PassimPay, we keep investing in our infrastructure because our merchants keep growing. Scaling crypto processing is the easy part. The harder part is giving you the tools to actually run a business on top of it.
We now support ApeCoin ($APE) as a payment method, and we've teamed up with the ApeCoin (@apecoin) team on a launch promotion for merchants.
🎁 Merchants who enable $APE are entered into a draw for 10,000 APE tokens, split between five winners at the end of the promotion. We're also waiving platform fees on APE payments for 50 days, so whatever you process in that window, you keep.
📋 To take part, enable $APE as a payment method through the PassimPay API (H2H integration supported).
📅 The promotion runs three months, through November 30, 2026.
👉 Enable $APE from your account dashboard!
