It shouldn’t have to be said, but yeah, if a company sees value in selling a book with cover artwork and not just text, then credit the artist(s) of the interior as well. Multiple artists don’t downgrade or deserve less credit either, ‘less famous’ artists are building a rep too.
Do you think it’s ok to credit the writer only on the cover, even when a few artists (not one) drew the books? Is the role of the artist being diminished here?
@ScottW_inks Ugh! That’s the worst feeling, but in the bright side I’ve never noticed it, there way better things to look at here than Gambit’s arm! :)
@ThePhoenixPress@inkpulp Assuming you meant ‘… relative to the WRITER ’ in your original post, if the company values using artwork for the cover and not just text, then yeah, An artist at any level, Frank Miller or no, deserves to be credited there too. That’s how both creators build their rep.
