Some of our church met at dawn to watch the sun rise and raise the first easter hallelujahs.

The Bible records that it was literally "deep in the dawn of Sunday" that the first eyewitnesses crept to the tomb expecting more tragedy, but were met with

Tomorrow we will be remembering people like Ernest Crutchley, of 101 Seymour Rd, killed at Passchendaele in 1917. And Herbert Barrenger, of 8 Umfreville Rd, killed in the Battle of Jutland in 1916. And Fred Sims, of 483 Green Lanes, killed at Bullecourt in 1917.

Friday: 'Bible Through the British Museum' Tour.

That thing on the wall is Assyrian art. They commissioned it to boast about their great building projects, which used slaves.

The burns marks are where the Assyrian palace was torched by Babylonians. Bullies don't last forever!
