@TexBlonde05 I've got a much bigger problem with having Indiana No. 1 than Texas' placement. Winning the national title has absolutely nothing to do with this season - especially in the age of NIL and massive year-to-year roster turnover in some cases. QB play there has dipped significantly
@dannykanell Through yesterday's games, ACC members Duke and Virginia Tech have played the nation's 91st and 123rd most difficult schedules respectively
Colorado and Coach Prime now 3-7 ATS in their L10Gs with a single digit point spread following last night's 41-7 thrashing at Northwestern. The Buffaloes closed as a 3.5-point dog in Evanston. CU now travels to Baylor where DK has opened the home team as a 8.5-point favorite
Dylan Edwards appears to be the first documented FBS player in college football history to fumble in three different countries: the United States, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Which is an absolutely insane stat for one player to own. 😂😎
@YorkyNHLtips Rich Rod’s system seems to fit former Oklahoma QB Michael Hawkins’ skill set like a glove. Mountaineers going to make a little noise up in Morgantown this season
In just his 3rd season and w/only 22 games against P4 foes, Texas A&M HC Mike Elko has now lost seven games outright as the betting favorite after Saturday’s 31-21 home loss to Kentucky. A&M had been a small favorite in most of the previous losses, but was favored by 17 Saturday
I wasn’t watching, but why in the world didn’t N.C. State run it out of the back of the end zone and expire the clock? Too much time remaining? Am I missing something?
@Dynasty_Dru@EGOT4Life Anything’s better than the result of the play from NCSU’s perspective. But nobody’s punting there IMO. The snap has to be good; it has to be caught; and it can be blocked. Ball stays on field in EZ and it’s a TD if recovered by Vandy. Just poor awareness and communication on play
@EGOT4Life Just saw the replay - Bailey could have expired clock running laterally to his right. Or just throw it out of bounds/etc. Absolutely incredible
LSU and Ole Miss clearly deserves top billing on today’s SEC menu. Florida going to the Plains is another big one. But don’t sleep on Mississippi State at South Carolina. The Kamario Taylor Tour continues today in Columbia
After last night’s narrow 28-26 escape over No. 22 Houston on the South Plains, Texas Tech stays unbeaten at 3-0 and likely won’t face another ranked team in the regular season. Meanwhile, a late October trip to Utah could determine whether a talented Houston team gets another shot at Tech in the Big 12 title game. Following tonight's mistake-filled opening 15 minutes, the Syracuse Orange have now committed a total of 31 penalties for 285 yards in their first nine quarters of the 2026 season. Fran Brown's troops are making a tough game even tougher
Syracuse out-gains Cal by almost 200 yards (439-249) Saturday and runs 26 more plays (86-60), but loses, 21-18, due to three Angeli INTs; missed FGs from 31 and 46 yards; and 15 penalties for 132 yards. Tough stat line for the Orange
Clemson didn't exactly play "clean" football in Saturday's 22-7 win over Sun Belt member Georgia Southern. The Tigers were 2-of-14 on 3rd down; had 2 turnovers; averaged <4 yards per carry; and committed 10 penalties for 100 yards against a team roughly ranked No. 100 in the FBS
@fasteddiesports@JoelKlattShow@joelklatt DK currently lists LSU as a 2.5-point favorite over Ole Miss on its lookahead line. It feels like LSU favored by anywhere from 1.5-to-3, so certainly have no problem with that number as of today
@JoelKlattShow@joelklatt Outstanding Top 25 poll from Joel Klatt! My thoughts are Michigan and Oklahoma State both ranked too high and Georgia and (especially) Ole Miss too low. I get the love for Ok State, but the Cowboys are stepping up in class and couldn't even stop anybody in the American!
@triptepper@BudElliott3 I knew Taylor’s ranking would get some attention. 6-4, 230-pounder was a big-time QB recruit who chose MSU over UGA and A&M. Not saying better numbers (supporting cast not as good) than Leavitt, but better individually. 178 pass/173 rush vs Ole Miss LY as a true FR gave a glimpse
