Honoured to share my story of my neurodiversity assessment with @Cognassist
We are all uniquely different & valuable. I am proud that I have dedicated my career to supporting the development of people, I can share my own journey and hopefully make a difference through my story
We have our first Industry Leader case study 🎉
It was brilliant to speak to Paul Eeles, Group Chief Executive @SkillsEduGroup, about sharing his experiences through social media and becoming an advocate in the sector.

This is significantly good news and such a sensible decision as the new government decides its approach in this area. It’s also a great demonstration that @bphillipsonMP is listening to those who know what they’re talking about.
Breaking: The new government has paused reforms to post-16 qualifications at level 3 and below, halting the planned defunding of some BTECs and other alternatives to T Levels https://t.co/LfdydTxxNP
There is much that is positive in the King’s speech & paves the way for @Jacqui_Smith1 to lead policy in this area that will be good for the system. But silence on halting the defunding of L3 quals is the elephant in the room that needs some urgent focus, my FE week article 👇
'If it wasn't technically necessary for the King's Speech, the sector would nevertheless benefited from some certainty in this regard'

@HCFEprincipal@RichesGary@AoCDavidH@FEWeek Thank you Darren, for your kind words…as a sector we must keep pushing for the right outcomes for learners, who’s life chances depend on government getting this important policy right…which is why the L3 and below pause is so important, in order to reflect and get it right!
BUSY opinion section on @FEWeek today ... it's almost like an ex-PM has intervened in a massively controversial policy area or something ...

@shanechowen@bphillipsonMP@Jacqui_Smith1@FEWeek My view is that it’s great that the Sec of state wants to talk to the sector for which she is responsible for and take questions. Of course it’s limited what can be covered but it’s a change in engagement which can only be welcome.
I so love this seven rules of life! All I need to do is get better at practicing them! Point No 4 is the one I’m most proud of…there are so many talented people out there doing so well that I know and I think my job is to cheer them on and say well done your doing really well!
@FEWeek This is a brilliant appointment for them, I am delighted for you @FionaAldridge congratulations 🥳 look forward to working with you in your new capacity
