YMCA Erdington’s 34 move-on flats give young people independence, but too many still lack a safe, affordable home.

Spent the morning with the Minister, making the case for tougher action on exempt accommodation affecting Erdington, Kingstanding, Castle Vale and South Oscott.

Councils need stronger powers to crack down, and I pressed for changes to planning laws so exempt accommodation... 1/2
