Ivana Bacik proposal to SocDems and Greens to come together to negotiate with FF/FG is simply an invitation to repeat the same old mistakes of Labour.

It would be a disaster. People want rid of FF/FG, not to prop them up.

The government survived the No confidence vote because some supposed "independents" disgracefully propped them up. But protests have impacted. A mass movement of workers, unions & communities can force the action needed to seriously address the cost of living and housing misery.

The Stardust families have been insulted yet again. Survivors were not consulted and instead learned through the media of a one-size-fits-all €20,000 scheme, something they have warned against for years. They deserve a victim-led approach not one-size-fits-all payments.

Government is ramming a rent hike bill through the Dáil that will throw renters to the wolves.
This bill opens the door to brutal “market rent resets” that will drive up rents by up to 40%. An outright attack on working-class people already drowning in extortionate rents.

For years now, we've been chasing Irish Water to invest and fix this, but they haven't so far.

It's horrendous that every time there's heavy rainfall sewage overflows and runs into the Dodder and people's gardens.

Working people are being crushed by this government while they hand hundreds of millions in giveaway tax breaks to the most profitable and wealthy businesses in the country. It’s a transfer of your wealth as the taxpayer to the richest in our society.

New govt rental laws will push rents even higher. Half of the average workers’ take-home pay already goes on rent. The government need a serious wake-up call to show them exactly how angry and desperate people feel because of their landlords-first agenda.
