it's definitely too warm to be drawing snow scenes but this one was a little too hard to let go so i had to make one while i can. it's rather satisfying to get this one right, depending on how heavy it's snowing, your painting technique changes a bit too
i enjoy that my lines have evolved to be guidelines for my painting. awhile back i hated the idea of painting because it seemed so daunting but before i knew it i'm already painting grilled cheese
this type of angle requires you to draw shadows first (i paint all colors on single layer)
i think there is something interesting about flowers being bent like that, its not something you see often, so i want to see what else i can draw that invoke that uniqueness in nature
i should get into drawing more crabs, the colorful shell and the cute shape has always been one of my favorites of sea life. it's a shame that they taste so good, i get distracted by the possibility of flavor, but they are still pretty regardless
You typically expect a cloud to be white, lighter color than the sky. but when you learn that the cloud can also be the darkest thing above you, it can open up your understanding of colors. there is a lot of assumptions i have to break down if i want to draw better
