@Cobratate The most beta thing I have read in my entire life. Such insecurity can only come from a real inner self loathing. Are you OK mate, it is OK to ask for help.

@trussliz@elonmusk@X Bad liz, you know you are not allowed out of the Naughty Corner yet. Big girls say sorry when they break the economy and get outlasted by a head of lettuce. You can come back and join the adults when you apologise properly . Silly silly Liz 🙄
@JesseKellyDC Oh, and Democracy / Freedom (Greek but British have practiced it longest (admittedly there are some small states that can claim this too, but continuously probably the UK).
@JesseKellyDC Im going to blow your mind now - other things that aren’t American and also aren’t communist. Hotdogs (German), Blue Jeans (French - Denim means De Nimes - from Nimes), Fries and Ketchup (Belgian / Chinese), TV (UK), Cars (German), Apple Pie (British), Radio (UK) This is Fun.
@JesseKellyDC Hahaha It isn’t ‘Communist’ to be educated. Most kids know the Architecture you reference was designed and built by the French (1 of the 3 architects was the same guy who built the Eiffel Tower, 3 points if you can guess his name 😂). You are accidentally the funniest guy on X😂
@British_Airways your flight from London to Doha was 2 hrs delayed. Ok, problems happen. But in @DohaAirport , no help at transfer, no information. Currently stood in a stationary transfer queue for 2 hrs with no assistance at all. Zero customer service. This is an absolute disgrace. @qatarairways should be ashamed.
@DohaAirport we have been stood at the transfer desk queue for 1 hr now and it has not moved. No one is helping us. No announcements. No information. We are just being ignored. To anyone reading this. Please can you tell your transfer desk that this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Anywhere.
Having come back from Ukraine today, and having worked there before, and having spoken to Ukrainians about their wants and desires, I can tell you this. Ukraine wanted the EU, and it wanted Nato, neither were ‘imposed’. Surely after all your speeches on every nation’s right to decide its own future you can’t object to Ukraine doing the same. Unless of course you are an opportunist that jumps on every populist bandwagon in order to promote yourself and have no actual beliefs. I would be happy to take you in to Ukraine, to meet actual Ukrainians, to hear their options. But only if you have the courage of your convictions of course. Up to you.
Is it just me, or are others also already tired of hearing from all sides about why they are less incompetent than the alternative. Are others also longing for each UK Party to set out a clear vision of how they are going to make our lives healthier, happier, wealthier and more secure? I don’t want ‘not Rishi’ or ‘not Kier’, I want a vision that inspires me of a country I can be proud of. #election2024 #4July2024

To celebrate International Women's Day 2024, we were joined by Tessa Whieldon, Head of Female Participation and Growth at the @ECB_cricket on the Business of Sustainability podcast.
🏏 Alexandra Smith and Polly Milne discuss with Tessa, the ECB’s strategies and successes when it comes to inclusion, including several inspiring stories such as young cricketer, Izzy Fiddler.
🗣 "I highlight Izzy's story because in my view it's probably the first time, or certainly the first time in this modern period, while we've been in inspiring generations, that she was able to do that because she could see people on TV, she could see women, she could see International Women's Cricket on the TV, but also there was a structure and a pathway and a system there that enabled her to do it rather than it just being a happy accident."
🗣 "Inclusion is fundamental because otherwise without inclusion and diversity, without the investment, without the culture, there wouldn't be the system there in the first place."

@ProfBrianCox Or more likely, the Zoo Theory, they know we are here, but know what we are like, and have us firmly quarantined until such a time as we know how to behave.
@ProfBrianCox Or, Clarkes 3rd Law, any sufficiency advanced alien society might be indistinguishable from Magic or Superstition. Our narrow perspective might mean we are just not be able to comprehend what we are seeing.
