Good morning, everyone.

This is hard to write, but I owe it to you to say it plainly. Starting today, I'm stepping away from @PENXCHAIN_

Three years ago, this started as research. It became something remarkable, something the team and I believed in with everything we had. We built Penxchain because public blockchains, and even most of the ZK and privacy-focused L1s and L2s that came before us, never solved a problem that mattered to us: the transparency trap. Financial institutions, healthcare providers, and governments have stayed away from blockchain adoption for their daily operations because the technology forces a choice between transparency and confidentiality. We designed Penxchain to remove that choice.

The biggest obstacle we faced wasn't the technology. It was funding. In our push to raise capital through a token launch, we trusted a third-party KoL service that scammed us. We also trusted launchpads, and that was our biggest mistake. I regret it deeply. Those decisions set back plans we'd spent years building toward, and I carry that weight.

I don't blame anyone else for this. This was my first time trying to bring something this ambitious to life, and I made mistakes along the way. Some of the setbacks we faced also came from challenges specific to my region, and that's been a hard reality to sit with.

I've also been personally scammed more than once during this journey. Some of it I made public. Some I kept to myself, because it's uncomfortable to admit you've become a victim of the exact thing you've spent years warning others about. But hiding it doesn't serve anyone, and I'd rather be honest with you now than keep up an appearance.

Right now, I have debts to pay and a period of rebuilding ahead of me, financially and personally. I'm stepping back to focus on that, and on myself, after a stretch where I spent a lot of energy trying to make everyone else happy at my own expense. That's not sustainable, and I've learned that the hard way.

Stepping away from Penxchain doesn't mean stepping away from Web3. My focus now shifts to blockchain education, community development, and marketing work with Web3 companies globally, the things I know I do well. If there's ever a point where I have the resources to build Penxchain the way it deserves to be built, we may come back to it. The vision hasn't disappeared. The timing just isn't right.

I want to thank the people who made this journey worth it. Nastasha Khan, my co-founder, who stood by this from the start. Emmanuel Oluwafemi and the rest of our developers, who kept showing up even through the setbacks and kept believing in the movement when it would have been easier not to. And to this community, everyone who believed Penxchain could be the next big thing and trusted us with that belief, thank you. Genuinely.

This is a hard decision, but it's the right one for where I am right now.

Blockchain transparency was never a feature. It was a limitation we agreed to accept.

It was just the only option.

While we truly appreciate the continued support and patience from our community, we want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone.

Regarding our TGE and product launch, we have now finalized the path we intend to take.

To ensure we don’t launch a token without real, people-driven utility behind it, we’ve made a deliberate decision: we will first launch our mobile wallet (Android and iOS) along with our Chrome extension. This will then be followed by the token launch allowing real usage and demand to drive adoption organically.

We are now entering the final phase of development for our wallet and PENXPay. While we’re excited to share more details, we’ve chosen to keep certain aspects low-key for now.

That said, plans for listings and product rollout are actively underway. Once everything is fully aligned, the community will be the first to know.

We’ve also successfully refined our wallet waitlist, with over 80,000+ users ready to adopt our non-custodial wallet built to offer full control and privacy, powered by zero-knowledge technology.

In the coming days, the waitlist will go live, marking the beginning of our wallet launch phase.
