I’m so proud to be sharing this. It’s a fantastic piece of creative work by @mattmarvell of @BBCSuffolk. It’s the people who make Suffolk special and Matt helps to tell their stories brilliantly. https://t.co/WUHCoa5VGS

They don’t come much bigger than this in local radio. Wally Webb leaves @BBCNorfolk today after 40 years! What a star, what a gentleman, what a wonderful broadcaster. Farewell Wally #localradiolegend
Tonight we say goodbye to one of the nicest men in radio as @stephenfoz presents his final show @BBCSuffolk and @BBCNorfolk. He’s a true star and someone I have admired for many years. Good luck Foz and all the best
Today we said farewell and good luck to @sallyburch after 30 years in radio @BBCSuffolk. Sally's a legend. A producer who cares about our listeners, presenters and her colleagues. One who always has a smile and a kind word for everyone. One of the best! We'll all miss you Sal.
They are the unsung heroes of local radio. Every station has one and they wouldn’t run smoothly without them but today waved goodbye to our ace receptionist Helen Abbott. The place won’t be the same without her! @BBCSuffolk#BBCLocalRadio
He's been with us from the very beginning but after 40 years, Wally Webb has announced his retirement.
We get to keep him for a bit longer though, with his last day on Saturday 2nd January.
Let us know your memories of Wally Webb on the radio!
