On 7th May 2026, staff from Prison Fellowship Rwanda in Mahama Refugee Camp joined other humanitarian partners operating in the camp to pay Tribute and honor all the victims killed in 1994 Genocide against Tutsi at Ngoma Genocide Memorial Site as part of Kwibuka32.
The commemoration served as an opportunity to educate refugee communities and international partners about the history and consequences of the genocide against Tutsi while reinforcing the collective responsibility to prevent genocide ideology, hate speech, and division.
