The California Fire Foundation, in collaboration with @PGE4Me, has released the 2025 Wildfire Safety and Preparedness Report. The report captures our efforts to raise awareness on wildfire safety and to bring resources to underserved communities in high fire threat areas in California. In 2025, $950,000 in grant funding was distributed to 63 grantees for specialized equipment, PPE, programs to increase fire prevention and emergency preparedness education, defensible space programs, and fuel/ hazard reduction programs.
The Wildfire Safety and Preparedness Program continues to be a constant reminder of the danger wildfires pose to Californians and the importance of staying prepared.
