This morning we held a press breakfast to launch The Tannery in Bermondsey, a new community development that's anchored by @drawingroomldn's first permanent gallery, much needed artist studios for @tannery_arts & mixed tenure housing within a series of new and heritage buildings.

@CoffeyArch The judges were swayed by the ‘’energy and professionalism of the presentation.’’
They also demonstrated inventiveness and a degree of control that proved they could easily scale up into bigger buildings.
Their @BFI and Kentish Town projects can be seen below 👇
.@CoffeyArch makes up our 4th past winner deep dive with two prizes. In 2012 the practice won Young Architect of the Year and Small Project Architect of the Year.
This success was significant for the practice, boosting its reputation and leading to new opportunities.
@AYAwards A blast from the past! Thank you…it really helped us at the time…and still now. A fantastic award. One I cherish. Now where are those red shoes?!

Site visit! 🚧 This is the new gallery space for @tanneryarts in #Bermondsey. The charity makes contemporary art accessible to the public through exhibitions & learning projects. We are honoured to have designed their new home as part of our work on Rich Industrial Estate.
Flexibility and future proofing were key to @CoffeyArch’s Digi-Tech Factory for Norwich City College, which has won it Client of the Year in the 2023 RIBA East Awards @RIBAEast #RIBAawards

We won an RIBA award! Wonderful. Congrats to the whole team. And thanks to the @RIBA South West for putting us up in such an incredible place in Bristol. #placematters
A huge thanks to @JohnMcelgunn from @RSHParchitects for speaking (at top speed!) at Coffey & Croissants this morning. It was brilliant to discuss the practice's iconic buildings through diagram, the purpose/value in expressing components and architecture that gives back. ☕️🥐

"Ideal for small to medium size dogs, the Fetch dog kennel not only offers a cozy nook to your canine friend but also stores dog toys and creates an architectural refuge for them to rest."
Director Michael Henriksen spoke to @dezeen about the ideas behind 'Fetch':
"We took this dry and serious architectural element we're all familiar with and swapped out its key components with some joyful additions."
