We are a Group of Friends who are actively regenerating Pickering Lodge Park in Timperley.

Especially the lady on Grove Lane who brought us orange drinks! 🍊

We cleared the area around the Grove Lane entrance. Litter picking around the woodland and picnic areas. Plus a little weeding and tidying on the circular border. 😃

After many, many years of reporting and complaining to One Trafford from our Committe, friends of the park and local Councillors, the hedge on Grove Lane has finally been cut back. Looking forward to a lush green safer hedge in the spring.

Residents of Green Drive/Walk have donated funds for an Oak Tree to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth 11.
To be planted, along with bulbs, on Saturday 15th October 2022

Spring is on it's way. Our newly planted nearly 1000 bulbs in October are making an appearance. Hopefully will make a lovely display.
