There needs to be a word for that New Orleans condition you get when brass bands erupt around your house but you can’t find them and end up listening from the porch for however long it lasts.
Another side effect of yesterday’s power outage (beside cellular service completely failing) is when the power came back on my air conditioner broke. Assumed it was coincidence but we just left Whole Foods and theirs is broken too. Wth???
@WWLAMFM Yes, and I lost verizon cell service completely. No data, no calls, not even texts went through.
What happened? Do the towers not have backup batteries anymore? This is a bad sign before hurricane season.
Can we please get the signal light at St. Charles Ave. and State St. fixed? It’s been out - black, not flashing - for several days and it’s such a busy spot. @CmGiarrusso@NOLACityCouncil@CityOfNOLA
Can you please see why the signal lights are still flashing at Napoleon and Magazine @lesliharris? Its been like that for several days! What’s the holdup?
I’ve gotten a dozen @nolaready texts about incoming tornados yet there’s still parade barricades strewn all over the route.
Shall I gather those on my way to clean the storm drains?
New Orleans is always partying because Catholics.
Christmas isn't over - It's Christmastide and today's only Day 3. Then it's Epiphanytide (Jan 6-12), Candlemas (Feb 5), and a VERY LONG Carnival season this year - Lent /Ash Wed starts March 5! ⚜️

Anyone know if you can bring your teenager into the voting booth in Louisiana?
Just realizing my kids will be able to vote in the next presidential election. 🤯
@WhoDatDiva016 Great, thanks! I brought them when they were under 10, but didn’t know if older kids could. I want to make sure they know what they’re doing!
My coworker teachers dressed as baristas and served mini ‘starbucks’ cups filled with coffee candies and names deliberately spelled wrong on the outside. 😂☕️🎃
