Taylor Hawkins, the drummer for the Foo Fighters, died on March 25, 2022, at the age of 50 in Bogotá, Colombia.
The band was on tour in South America and was scheduled to perform at the Estéreo Picnic Festival that night. In his room at the Four Seasons Casa Medina hotel, he complained of chest pains; emergency services were called, and he was found unresponsive.
CPR was performed, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. A preliminary toxicology report detected ten substances in his system, including opioids, benzodiazepines, tricyclic antidepressants, and THC.
Authorities reported that his heart was enlarged (approximately twice the normal size for a man his age), which caused a cardiovascular collapse.
No single, definitive official cause of death has been released, but the substances and his heart condition were key factors.
The band announced his death with an emotional statement: “His musical spirit and infectious laugh will live on with all of us forever.” They canceled the remainder of the tour and organized massive tributes at Wembley Stadium (London) and the Kia Forum (Los Angeles), featuring dozens of artists including Paul McCartney, Queen, Rush, Travis Barker, and many more. His son Oliver played drums at one of the tributes.
“Everlong” was the last song Taylor Hawkins played live with the Foo Fighters.

Pareciera ser un villano, o por lo menos lo parece más en la referencia que me dieron 🦥 Definitivamente mi parte favorita son los colores de su cabello, no veo esos tonos muy seguido 🦔
