@B23COD I’d be happy with some kind of PvE mode adjacent to DMZ seeing as the story seems more attached to campaign than before. like I’ll still play regular DMZ regardless but being able to play the story parts without being arsed about other people would be cool
@__Cr0ss_@scryocat yup yup don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the visual variety in attachments from MWII but the way they were catalogued and such just made it painful
@StoneMountain64 MW4 should have a PvE mode (especially seeing as DMZ appears to be tied heavily to the campaign) but it doesn’t -have- to be DMZ. PvE only DMZ just seems like the easiest choice similar to how they retooled 95% of DMZ to churn out MWIII Zombies in a rush
@Themistmaker1 that’s what I’m finding frustrating with the whole back and forth. it’s not so much about having the DMZ experience without PvP, it’s more about having something similar to Directed Mode in BO6/7, especially seeing as they’re tying story elements to DMZ
@Makistan1776@Hikaru_Shidou_ from the outside looking in, I really don’t blame Ameribros for pivoting to looking after their own. the amount of “America bad (can you help us out please?)” that has gone on in the media over this side of the pond is baffling
@Vondyispog my big concern is that for all of IWs efforts to make engaging other players in DMZ more risky, players will dictate if it’s a mode where people work together or turn it into Plunder with extra steps and no respawns
@Voodoo_Hendrix@Vondyispog on the old COD app on mobile Plunder matches were tagged with like _dmz/xyz123, kinda makes sense that’d it’d be somewhat a precursor mode
@_cruzee_ I think that to justify the amount that’s been spoiled already, Price’s “crossing the line” moment needs to be huge in comparison. something like him being the one to nuke the DMZ map/trigger WW3 rather than it being someone firmly on the North Korean side
@Voodoo_Hendrix me six Dr Peppers deep, having watched Warfare earlier that evening, confusing my friends with military jargon rather than giving clear comms
@TheXboxPrincess@AaronTheLoco to me campaign, multiplayer and a PvE additional mode like Spec Ops, Survival or Zombies makes up the complete package for COD. I’m not much of a Zombies fan but it’s nice to have an alternative chill mode alongside multiplayer
@xFleXy_ I wouldn’t mind PvE DMZ as a fully separate mode with different rewards structure to replace Spec Ops, only because there’s a limit to campaign replayability so Spec Ops and Zombies have been nice alternative modes. still gonna play the hell out of regular DMZ though
@zackpr05 I feel like any attempt IW made at a fantasy third mode (anything not Spec Ops basically) will always be judged against Treyarch Zombies rather than on its own merit, even with possible different facets (like earning Perks/Upgrades vs Perk a Colas as an example)
