Reminder: my reviews should not be taken as gospel. I am one person with one set of preferences, one set of ears & one set of experiences. You should ALWAYS get multiple opinions on audio gear before buying. Also, the job of gear is to make stuff. So make stuff w/ what you have.
@RewindCEO Yeah. Sort and filter are gone. I used to sort newest to oldest and filter for videos between 4-20minutes to avoid all shorts! Can’t do it anymore and it’s a hodge podge of nonsense now.
@CBAutry Thanks for the concern. Yes sir things are going well. Just haven’t had any free time. Started taking some classes and also started playing at my church which has taken up a LOT of time. Classes end December so hoping to have time to get back at it.
The reason I’ve been publishing sporadically is I now have obligations on Tues, Wed, Thur night, and all day Sat, and Sun. So I only have 2 nights free to work on stuff. I’m still slowly working on videos but I’ve struggled to keep up once per week.
@WillCarterTech Thanks for checking! Yeah I’m well just been completely swamped with life the last few months and haven’t had the energy after fulfilling the other obligations to do any work. It’s why reviews have been so sporadic as well.
It is with broken hearts that we share the devastating news that our founder and CEO, Todd Cochrane, has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 61.
Todd wasn’t just the founder of Blubrry — he was the heart and soul of our community. https://t.co/Dw8OqCbSl7
Calling all audio folks. Yesterday I fried my UA X8. I setup my backup UA Twin X and today fried the inputs of that as well. All I can think is the mic sent static electricity into the preamp circuit. Has anyone experience this before?

I listened to a recording that was made and mixed in 2002, and it sounded really, really good. Then I realized it couldn’t have been recorded in 32-bit float.
