Nobody enjoyed the LSU beatdown more than Texas A&M strength coach Tommy Moffitt, who was LSU’s strength coach for three national championship teams before not being retained by Brian Kelly. “Last two years in second half against LSU, we outscored them 60-6. Says a lot about Coach Moffitt,” Mike Elko said.

Violent tornado with horizontal vortex right before entering Rolling Fork, MS. Came across town and pulled multiple people from ruble. Unburied one woman and flagged down medic. Myself, Max and Jordan worked to free older woman buried under house and carried little girl to safety
Happy Birthday, Texas! 187 years ago today, on March 2nd, 1836, 59 men signed the Texas Declaration of Independence, officially breaking from Mexico and creating the Republic of Texas. We've been through a lot since then --- had our share of bad characters and tough times --- but the spirit of those folks who took such a leap of faith lives on.
Here's an 1836 copy of the official document.
"To the People of Texas & all Americans in the world:
I am beseiged, by a thousand or more of the Mexicans under Santa Anna.
I have sustained a continual Bombardment & connonade for 24 hours & have not lost a man.
The enemy has demanded a surrender at discretion, or otherwise, the garrison are to be put to the sword, if the fort is taken.
I have answered the demand with a cannon shot, & our flag still waves proudly from the walls.
I shall never surrender or retreat.
Then, I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch — the enemy is receiving enforcements daily & will no doubt increase to three or four thousand in four or five days.
If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country.
Victory or Death."
William Barret Travis, Letter from the Alamo, February 24, 1836
