With bomb pots becoming more common I think players should separate bomb pot results from their regular session results. Combining them distorts your true NL winrate and makes it harder to evaluate how you’re performing in each game.
Example: You play eight hours of $2/$5 NL and win $1,200 overall. During the session, you spend about one hour playing fifteen $10 ante double board PLO bomb pots and win $200. I would record this as:
$2/$5 NL: 7 hours, +$1,000
$10 PLO DBL Bombs: 15 hands/1 hour, +$200
Once you separate the results you may discover that your true NL win rate is much higher or lower than expected.
