This is so bad for the team building structure of the NBA.

Basically teams have to draft like OKC and GSW in the late lotto-late draft to build a sustainable contender. The pathway for truly bad teams to get a megastar has never been more bleak.

I think it was a godsend that the Lakers played the way they did last series.

Really gave SGA a good feel of how to deal with the super aggressive double and still dominate.

OKC is creating 26.4 wide-open shots per game in the playoffs.

That comfortably leads the field & is the second most (min. two series) since tracking began in 2013-14.

That's the Shai effect. He leads the playoffs in hockey assists (2.2) & is second in potential assists (15.5).
