4 years ago, Terrill Davis had never played a game of organized football.
He always wanted to be a basketball player, but football found him. Now, he’s coming to OSU with NFL aspirations.

This is so bad for the team building structure of the NBA.
Basically teams have to draft like OKC and GSW in the late lotto-late draft to build a sustainable contender. The pathway for truly bad teams to get a megastar has never been more bleak.

I think it was a godsend that the Lakers played the way they did last series.
Really gave SGA a good feel of how to deal with the super aggressive double and still dominate.
Like the Lakers, I imagine SAS will realize it’s not viable and fall into a base d.
OKC is creating 26.4 wide-open shots per game in the playoffs.
That comfortably leads the field & is the second most (min. two series) since tracking began in 2013-14.
That's the Shai effect. He leads the playoffs in hockey assists (2.2) & is second in potential assists (15.5).
Seemingly official for Shai.
The award will be announced later today, but this was always the expectation. A testament to how special SGA is to have two MVPs by age 27.

Breaking: Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has won his second consecutive NBA Most Valuable Player award, becoming the 14th player in league history to win back-to-back MVPs, multiple sources tell ESPN.
What a series for OKCs depth.
SGA didn’t really show up until Game 4 and the rhythm that Ajay Mitchell and McCain had established carried over.
McCain was such a steal at the deadline. Everyone in OKC should send Daryl Morey thank you cards.

The lottery is over. OKC will stay at No. 12, at least for now. So who are the guys that could make sense for the Thunder and why?
We have you covered for it all at 12, 17 and if OKC moves up in an unforeseen, unlikely deal.

Any officiating complaining after this game would just be laughable to me.
SGA in foul trouble the whole second half, including a horrible flagrant. I get what NBA discourse on here is at this point, but can we watch and come to a real conclusion?
@TheSuaveReport // #ThunderUp
Per usual some wise words here from Rylan.
When players/coaches rush to blame officiating after every loss, fans do the same. Makes you appreciate how Booker handled Phoenix’s series loss even more.

The way it’s ruined the NBA is any time you lose any game the accountability is gone from the modern NBA. First thing said in the post game press conference/social media is about the refs/flopping in an attempt to save face, cope. Fans buy into it much like every talking point.
Always good talking to @LakersFastBreak.
This week, we went over our NBA Awards and picked our playoff winners through the nba finals, with detailed breakdowns of every 1st round series.

The final stretch of the Kia NBA MVP campaign is here!
Read Shaun Powell’s Kia Race to the MVP Ladder with less than 10 days to go in the tightly contested race on the NBA App.
Last night, the anticipation was pointless.
Here’s what I’ll say about Thunder vs. Lakers:
▫️ The Lakers? Not who people think they are.
▫️ The MVP conversation starts and ends with Shai & Wemby.
▫️ And Dub… yeah. He’s back.
Been thinking about this lately.
Jokić
SGA
Wemby
Steph
KD
Lebron
Are all likely locks to me at their current paces.
Conversations will have to be had with Luka and Giannis, assuming both stay healthy (moreso Giannis obv)
I thought tonight was exactly why SGA is MVP.
OKC’s offense sputtering, didn’t have his best game early, but, once more, was undeniable in the clutch.
Btw, if you think your all time favorite player didn’t shoot a lot of FTs, go check the stats

Ever been in a situation where you’re minding your business, not saying a word, yet everyone’s talking about you?
That’s SGA’s reality.
And still, his silence speaks volumes. He lets his game do the talking.
There’s a distinction between a band’s musical proficiency and its overall sound.
Throughout the season, the Thunder have been dominant, but they haven’t always been complete.
Now, with Jalen Williams regaining form, everything seems to be in sync once again, just in time for a postseason run that could culminate in back-to-back championships.
Mike Brown challenged the play to prove that KAT saved it without touching the out-of-bounds line.
He won the challenge.
But he saved it to Isaiah Hartenstein, so OKC retained possession. Just a dumb challenge by Brown.
