We are happy to announce that our first governance vote has concluded.

Our community decided on the launching chain for our protocol, and the majority of votes went to Kava EVM.

With an absolute vote share, Kava took the win with 129M voting power, which is 56% of the total votes.

What are our next steps?

There is currently a governance proposal on mintscan (https://t.co/XvjOF5upyQ) for the execution of token swap.

Then, once we receive the outlined incentive, the protocol will launch.

The supported networks are:
Ethereum, BSC, Fantom Opera, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Avalanche.

A new era - $WAGMI is born

The $WAGMI token is based on LayerZero's (@LayerZero_Labs) Omnichain Fungible Tokens (OFT) Standard. In the upcoming articles we will explain what OFTs are and how they work.

OFTs, in short, are an extensible token contract enabling native sending between blockchains. This tech brings about transformative benefits for tokens adopting it.
Some benefits that come with the OFT standard are: the ability to own your contracts, decide your security level, and have a say in your fees. These features enhance user autonomy.

We've deployed $WAGMI on 9 networks: Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Fantom Opera, Avalanche, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, zkSync Era, and Kava.

Our team has also developed a bridge for easy $WAGMI swapping between these networks. However, the bridge between zkSync and Kava will be enabled later.

$ICE to $WAGMI token swap will be enabled in early August. This will occur once all GMI & Concentrator audits are complete and necessary updates / fixes to the contracts are made.

In the next 2-3 weeks, expect a flow of info through articles and threads explaining how $WAGMI, GMI and NGMI works, helping you understand its logic and prepping for an AMA with @danielesesta.

We're eager to keep you informed and help you prepare for this exciting phase. Remember, the more you know, the better equipped you'll be for our upcoming AMA and easier it will be for you to use our products.

We contacted all the parties and protocols involved - nobody had any information that was satisfying to us.

To leave nothing to chance - we have decided to burn the $ICE tokens that were in the multichain-affected wallet.

Our Wagmi frontend has undergone a slight revamp. We have added an analytics chart for current trading pairs (lines/candles), a liquidity concentration chart, and introduced TVL, volume, and liquidity charts in the liquidity tab for each pair.
