Our community deserves a voice in decisions that shape our schools and our children’s future. Next week, CCSD is hosting Community Forums on its Facility Master Plan on May 12th and 13th at 6:00 PM at Desert Oasis High School. Please attend to ask questions, share feedback, and advocate for solutions that put students and families first.
I recently asked whether CCSD is exploring ways to repurpose unused school buildings or available space by leasing to charter schools. This could be a practical win-win: generating revenue for the district while expanding opportunities for students. These are exactly the kinds of conversations our community needs to be a part of and I hope to see you there.
