Congratulations to Adairsville High School junior Aaron Souders on becoming the first officially certified FAA Drone Pilot in the district—an incredible achievement in a fast-growing, high-demand field. Big kudos as well to Mr. John Ford for guiding Aaron every step of the way and making career-connected learning a reality.

At @Huntsville City Schools #Emerging Innovators Summit this week, @PowerUpEDU Education Consultants introduced @Woz ED, a STEM Career Pathways Curriculum that delivers innovative STEM curriculum designed to inspire the next generation of creators and innovators. Using Cubelets students were able to explore real world applications of robotics.

“The Interactive Playground has transformed our PE program. The content is second to none and creates an exceptional connection with students,” says Mark Beheler, PE teacher at Boiling Springs Elementary. By customizing apps to match weekly learning objectives, his students’ SLO success rates jumped from 74% to 95%.
Teachers collaborate with him to tailor spelling, math, and motor‑skills activities, and students—especially those with special needs—show higher engagement and confidence. One student with Down syndrome, he notes, is thriving academically because of her success with Target and basketball apps.
Participation is up, complaints are gone, and the Interactive Playground has become a powerful part of their Active Learning practice."
