@dqveed “I like all of them” buddy if you did you’d be in a constant fight for your life against yourself. You’d be setting traps for yourself in your own home because you so vehemently disagree with your philosophical beliefs
On a solar system sized megastructure, itself the only remaining matter in a universe billions of trillons of years old
Clone of a 20th century human : I guess everything that will ever be has already happened, time to have sex with this voluptuous synthetic creature
giving the world cup to the usa was a stupid decision.
this tournament was supposed to bring the world together. instead we’re talking about shootings, visa issues, travel restrictions and whether fans from certain countries will even be able to attend
In the film “Borat” the villagers were not actors; they believed it was a genuine documentary
They were told that it would focus on rural life. After the film was released, they considered suing the Israeli actor Sacha Baron Cohen
"We thought they had come here to help us, not to mock us."
I think one of the most foul things you can do is to mock someone’s enthusiasm and earnestness.
They’re dancing with him and he’s thinking ‘yeah keep going you stupid fucks this is great footage’.
Rancid mentality.
The longer I think about it the more annoyed I get to be honest. And not at gooseworx or anything, but at all the people who kind of refuse to see the very obvious implications about Jax.
We've got:
- jax feeling comfortable with the maid outfit to the point where one of the one in their head wears it "as a bit, to show he doesn't really care or as a joke", something that very often happens with trans women who either deny or don't realize their transness yet (which often leads to the femboy phase).
- projects the "gayness" on other people who question him (calling another version of him a f***t).
- the trans writer using the "i'm just an egg that needs to be cracked" metaphor, which she could very well replace with any other metaphor to avoid confusion.
- speaking of eggs, the "egg with question marks" painting in the credits sequence
- something "deep and personal" that jax told his mother, which she laughed off and berated him for.
- right after that we get the bow on head which makes him blush, with ribbit saying "your secret is safe with me".
- the entire section where the song "Isn't she lovely" when a montage of different scenes with Jax plays.
This last one in particular annoys me so much because what do people even think - that it's referring to Pomni? Someone else? That it's played for no reason?
It's just so in your face I REALLY feel like people who refuse to see it have to be either very disconnected from the transgender experience (but in that case I would urge you to try to learn about it and keep an open mind about this stuff ❤️) or just transphobic.
