Gamesome2 has conquered the @CCS_Houston $25K and claimed the crown!
In a tournament flooded with Dogs, he brought Ruby/Amethyst and showed exactly why he's one of the best to do it.
We couldn't be prouder. Congratulations!

Awesome post and a lot of GREAT advice, MUST READ! 💪🏼
I can wholeheartedly say I went through the same struggles!
My current and most successful approach is the same: „Play for fun“!
Not playing casually, but playing and enjoying every single step on the way to the fullest!
Not tryharding, sweating, putting all of this pressure on me. Kind of a healthy competitiveness!
The most important advice I always give:
Don‘t copy approaches that don‘t fit to you and your lifestyle!
What does that mean? TIME!
Example: If you have a lot of responsibilities and have way less time to grind and master the game compared to others, don‘t try to metagame the room by hopping around with the deckchoice and spend so much time on deckbuilding!
All this cooking is for nothing, if you misplay too often or too big! Tight gameplay is the bulk of your winrate!
My personal approach in Lorcana:
If someone followed my Lorcana path they might have seen that I usually sticked to a deck a lot even tho I could have switched for a better meta call.
I enjoyed the deck I’ve played so much, tinkering on them and even developing a complete new meta-defining deck (RB Shark), that it ultimately accompanied me through the World Championship and got me the trophy!
It wasn’t also because it was easier to stick to a deck or because of I was too lazy, but I just played what I enjoyed the most!
I heard y'all like free hour+ long masterclasses from World's players! Took a deep dive into my deck building process. If you stick around you get a good look at what I believe is going to be a meta threat in set 12 core!
