The 800m at the IL T&F State meet is particularly Jr/Sr dominated in 3A. @grant_jens qualified all 4 yrs in the 800m. I have started digging, but can my fellow coaches help me out with other athletes that have accomplished this in the 800? @MileSplitIL @Rolando_Speed @HDJacobsXC

Not the IHSA state meet they envisioned, but these two led our squad all year & end their careers as the two fast 800m runners in PR history. Ethan in 1:54.47 (‘19 IHSA sectional) & Grant in 1:54.29 (‘18 IHSA final) & a career best of 1:53.10. Holy cow!
