Early May, precisely mid second week.

Traveled to Port Harcourt for a tech trial internship.

With little knowledge of what was needed. My bags off we went.

On reaching the company, alot was asked; I've been known to thrive in these situations. I said yes, hence started working the coming Monday 🤧, it was a devouring experience.

Summary of the program from Cole Tech Yard, in Partnership with @learn2earnNG are as follows ;

* It's a 4 week program.
*It's extensively about Peer To Peer Learning and collaboration,
*You're learning majorly the whereabouts of Visual Studio Code but you aren't being taught. In essence, there are no teachers. You have to find your way around by yourself and also with the help of your peers. This was the most important.
*Regularity is a necessity for the 4 weeks. Everyday of the week with no exceptions whatsoever. Monday through Monday.
*Punctuality, in addition to being available daily for for 4 weeks. You have to be at the company before 8am where you are to leave at atleast 6pm daily.
*You must always be on cooperate ear ( cover shoe), 7 days a week - 4 weeks.
* Most importantly it goes without saying, the program is designed for personal growth so cheating is the worst offence possible.

And don't forget to collaborate 🙂.

12 Quests, with approximately 10 sub quest.
Quest 10 being hackathon.
4 checkpoint - equivalent to online exams
3 Raids - Working on project in group of 2s and 3s
3 Audit on Monday after the quest.

I failed one, group leader didn't understand the question 🥲.

In all, it was actually a very great experience.
I know my way around VS Code properly enough to undertake any given task, on Go language and Ubuntu OS.

We need to learn how to argue with AI.

Abstract:

When using AI, don't just ask:

“What's the answer?”

Also ask:

“Why is this answer wrong?”
“What assumptions are you making?”
“What's the strongest argument against this?”
“What evidence would change your conclusion?”

This entails the future skill may not be prompting AI effectively, it may be arguing with AI effectively.
