Our collaborative R&D project with @umanitoba for space debris mitigation using additive manufacturing. The project involves prototyping self contained rocket thrusters to enable satellite re-entry into the earth’s atmosphere for safe spacecraft disposal. #manitoba #aerospace

Multi-axis machining allows for shorter cutting tools to be used & can be tilted to adjust the angle between the cutter & the part. This rigidity allows for greater advantages of machining at higher speeds with no loss of accuracy, better surface quality & reduced finishing time.
