I remember @ShooterHunt coming to the 2016 Future Games with me and his brother, @TJHUNT_PBRNJ.

Back then, the Future Games were held at @GrandParkSports in Indiana.

Shooter wasn’t there with a title.

He was there to help.

Throw BP. Help with New York and New Jersey. Interact with the players. Watch. Listen. Learn. Take the entire event in.

And over the course of those few days, he made an immediate impression on our national staff.

Not because he was trying to.

Because you could see it.

The baseball knowledge.
The look of a 1st rounder (which he was).
The work ethic.
The ability to connect with people.
The genuine passion for players and the game.

Two months later, Prep Baseball hired him.

That was 10 years ago.

Since then, Shooter has become one of the most recognizable and respected voices in amateur baseball scouting - impacting players, coaches, scouts and our company along the way.

Pretty incredible to think it traces back to a guy showing up in Indiana, willing to help wherever he was needed.

There’s a lesson in that.

You never know which opportunity will change the trajectory of your life.

Show up. Add value. Be good to people. Do the work in front of you.

Sometimes the biggest opportunities in your life don’t look very big when they first arrive.

10 years later, the rest is history. 🔨⚾️

FALL ⚾️ IN THE NORTHEAST. 🍂

Pennsylvania.
New York.
New Jersey.
New England.

One region. A full fall of opportunities.

Over the next two months, @PrepBaseball will be everywhere bringing our scouting, technology, coverage and national platform to players throughout the Northeast.

Fall Games.
Fall IDs.
Top Prospect Games.
Academic Games.
Freshman events.
Scout Days.

Different events. Different locations. One standard.

Our goal is simple:
Create opportunities for players to COMPETE.

Give players an opportunity to BE SEEN.
Identify the next wave of talent across the region.

The summer may be over…
...BUT the fall is just getting started.

See you at the field. ⚾️🫡

Baseball will break your confidence if you let it.

Two rules to stay sane in a game of failure:

Don't put it on a pedestal. It’s a game. Learn from the adversity, then FLUSH IT. 🚽

Never let a speedbump turn into a roadblock.

Short memory = long career. 💯
