My source within the NDC national leadership told me that one of the major factors that worked against many Obidients who intended to contest for various positions was their inability to demonstrate adequate financial preparedness.
They were reportedly asked to present evidence of a strong financial standing as part of proving their readiness for the electoral process, but all of them were unable to meet that requirement. As a result, they were denied the tickets.
They wanted a free ticket like Obi did 🤣
This morning, after dressing up for work, her husband asked for a quickie. ⏱️💦
She declined, saying she was already late for work.
He begged her, “You don’t even have to remove your clothes, it won’t take more than 2 minutes.”
She still refused and rushed out.
As she was leaving, he shouted:
“You’ve always been this way to me. Don’t worry, I will sort myself out.”
She replied “Okay” and left.
Now she’s at the office, and those words are ringing in her head.
Should she be worried? 👇
More content creators are beginning to see Peter Obi for who he is and are no longer influenced by Tunde Ednut’s sentimental views.
They are now speaking up and lending their voices to objective discussions.
Peter Obi was a colossal failure as Governor of Anambra state from 2006-2014.
I'm not a fan of Obi but the statement from NDC isn't fair to him and Obidients. Just because you gave Obi an automatic ticket, you want to control Obidients by proxy, control the campaign funds and prioritize the party above the movement.
What will be the gain of the likes of Aisha Yesufu, Tanko and others who suffered to lead the movement. One even lost out the ticket hoping to regain relevance through the control of campaign funding.
Indeed Dickson isn't a comrade like Abure but a politician like others. I hope they are not planning to strip Obi of his only political leverage - Obidients. First they didn't give any Obidients a ticket, and now this statement.
Kwankwaso Threatens to Leave NDC if His Candidates Are Replaced as Party Insists on 60/40
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has replaced several candidates earlier submitted by the Kwankwasiyya faction in Kano State over an alleged breach of a power-sharing agreement according to report by Dailypost.
According to a document signed by Kano State NDC Chairman, Hon. Hussaini Isah Mairiga, the changes were made to reflect the earlier agreement on the distribution of party positions and elective tickets between the existing NDC structure and the Kwankwasiyya bloc.
The document was copied to National Leader Senator Seriake Dickson, Kwankwasiyya leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and the NDC North-West Zonal Chairman.
Under the revised list, the party approved the following for Federal Constituencies:
• Barrister Isma’il Idris Sani – Kumbotso
• Nasiru Ali Ahmed – Nassarawa
• Kabiru Ishaq Sa’id – Kano Municipal
• Barrister Dayyabu Jamilu Ibrahim – Doguwa/Tudun Wada
• Muhammad Hamisu Abubakar – Dawakin Tofa/Rimin Gado/Tofa
• Ibrahim Bashir Bango – Sumaila/Takai
• Abdulmajid Isa Umar Mairigar Fata – Gwale
Adjustments were also made to State House of Assembly tickets in Dala, Tarauni, Kumbotso, Ungogo, and Dawakin Kudu constituencies.
The NDC explained that there was a standing agreement for elective positions and party offices to be shared on a 60-40 basis, with the Kwankwasiyya bloc receiving 60% and the original party structure retaining 40%.
The NDC has proven to be a vehicle for Bola Tinubu. However, Peter Obi and his co-travellers still have a way out. They should acknowledge that they made a mistake, resign from the NDC, join the ADC, and contribute to grassroots mobilization within the already super formidable and fast-growing ADC.
Seriake Dickson knows Obi will lose next year the reason he wants to field all the major candidates across SS and SE. He knows Obi will lose and leave for another party to contest the 2031 election. My man doesn't want these political travelers to reduce NDC to their SPV. Lessons
TIME FOR NATIONAL RECONCILIATION, RE-ORIENTATION & RECONSTRUCTION
The 2027 Presidential election is expected to be a major fight between PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU and his biggest challenger, ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR. It promises to be the battle of the Tians. A third force, hopefully, may show up, like it did in 2023, but not with enough fire power and tenacity to upstage, and obliterate, the two elder statesmen.
This is why it has become pertinent, and urgent, for our dear party ADC to change the traditional way of playing politics by becoming a link between the old and modern, conservative and cosmopolitan tendencies, veteran politicians and technocrats in government. There's no better combination than this duo, assuring of a colorful blend. The North and the South will reunite in a game of ethnic & religious rivalries.
The present combustive tensions, and absolute chaos, cannot be allowed to continue. It will consume all of us.
The time has come to retrace our steps and return to the days of robust ideas, ideologies and inspirational figures. Our founding fathers such as Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, The Sardauna Sir Ahmadu Bello, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, and others, tried their best, even if they were not perfect. Today, we've completely derailed from the legacies they bequeathed to us. The politics of gansterism has become unbearably malignant in our nation. This is the type of strong bridge we need between the North and the South.
We must act before it is too late...
AARE DELE MOMODU
Dear Dr (Mrs) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, @NOIweala, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the recent loss of your beloved younger brother, Prince Ikechukwu Okonjo, who, until his passing, was a respected member of the Umu Obi Obahai royal family of the Ogwashi-Uku kingdom in Delta State. I understand how deeply painful it is to bury a family member.
My family and I hold you and yours in our thoughts and prayers. May you and your loved ones find strength during this difficult time. We pray that his soul rest in peace. -AA

Kwankwaso is threatening to leave NDC because they removed some of his followers from the list. Obi said his followers should accept the injustice even though they removed ALL his followers from the list. Lesson in there.
I know most of you are afraid to say it in public but the truth is that NDC was setup up for Kwankwaso/Dickson 2031 ambition
It is clear now to most Obidients
I saw it and called it out but was tagged an enemy
How do you leave a party that made Obidients kings and queens to go build a party where you are seen as a pawn in their own game
It was never about 2027 for them
But they will regret it eventually
We dey here!
